La metodología trata de identificar un problema derivado de los desechos tecnológicos, por ende, se hizo una recopilación bibliográfica anexo a una investigación cuantitativa de corte transversal a los estudiantes de la Facultad Ciencias Informáticas de la Universidad Laica Eloy Alfaro de Manabí, periodo lectivo 2017-2. Los métodos teóricos fueron: el deductivo e inductivo, la síntesis y análisis; en la parte empírica se utilizó encuestas probabilísticas aleatorias al azar (fue el diez por ciento de 690. Los resultados comprueban que la mayoría desconocen el daño que causa el hecho de no saber reusar o reciclar estos equipos; se concluye que debido al consumismo del ser humano se ocasiona un grave problema con la acumulación de estos aparatos, ergo provocan mortales daños al lugar que habitamos por los componentes que contienen. Para esto es necesaria la existencia de una sensibilización sobre como procesar y reutilizar los equipos para mediar en la conservación y preservación del medio ambiente.Palabras Claves: Desechos electrónicos, sensibilización, entorno ambiental, reutilización, reciclar. Abstract:The problematic one investigated is the disinformation that exists in the Faculty of Computer Sciences by the pollution of the electronic devices, the object of study is the bad destiny of these contraptions at the end of its life cycle; also what this causes in the environment.
